There are 2 criteria for NITs, IIITs, IITs, and GFTIs. First: You need to have at least 75% in your respective board exam. Second: You need to meet the top 20 percentile criteria. No. IIT Delhi BTech admission is based on JEE Advanced scores only. In case the candidate wishes to take admission to MSc at IIT Delhi, you must appear and clear IIT JAM entrance exam. Similarly, GATE is a 'must' entrance exam to apply for the MTech programme at IIT Delhi. Last but not the least, IIT Delhi PhD admissions are based on the CSIR-JRF or equivalent entrance exam. Hence, it's very clear that IIT Delhi admission to all of the courses is based on candidates' performance in several national-level entrance tests.
