Maths is one of the easiest parts in JEE Mains after Chemistry.
You just need to memorize formulas and shortcut trick.
Follow only one book. (NCERT is not good for IITJEE).
Tata Mc Graw Hill for JEE Mains is one of the best books. It is also enough for JEE Advanced. It has a lot of questions with solutions. Solve it completely.
And in last 4 months, buy Arihant 38 years for Maths.
You can easily score 100+ marks if you follow my tips.

The cut-off for CSE in BITS-Goa lies between 317 to 330 marks in 2017. I don't know the exact iteration number, but probably it's 3rd or 4th.

Some good engineering colleges such as DTU, NSIT, IIITs, etc., accept JEE Mains scores. Therefore, you are advised to appear for JEE Mains. You are advised to appear in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced to seek admission in IITs after Diploma in engineering. IITs do not have lateral entry admission provision. DTU University conducts it's lateral entry admission test. Refer http://www.dtu.ac.in/Web/Admission/b.tech(LE).php.

I will prefer you to try TMH for scoring good in maths.
But the main thing is to go through previous year JEE questions which will give you an idea and many of the questions will clear your misconceptions.
GOOD LUCK

CSE is the best engineering, but I will suggest that you choose the branch according to your interest. If you are interested in programming languages then opt for CSE.
