Placements in marketing has been going great past few years. The average package has been 7.2 LPA this year. Fresher or work exp depends on the expectations from the company. But if we talk about laterals then they would bag a higher package.

The median package would be 6-6.5lpa. Almost 90% of the students are placed by now.

That's because the existing companies come up with different packages than last year plus there are new companies each year that take part in the recruitment

The avg package is around 6.5lpa. Companies like Asian paints, SBI,aspiring minds, bluestar, abrl etc come for recruitment. Yes companies outside the city come for placements as well. I am unaware of placement scenario of ibs-h . Do compare and make a wise decision. All the best.
