Both IT and automobile engineering industries are doing well in India. If you compare on parameters of new job creation, opportunities and campus placement records, software engineering is a better option in comparison to automobile engineering.

There are multiple job opportunities available in the field of IT. As per NASSCOM Indian IT Industry revenues grew by 13% in FY 2015 and it added 2,30,000 employees in FY15. NASSCOM has forecasted that IT industry exports will grow by 12-14% and domestic market by 15-17% in FY2016. IT is an excellent career opportunities.
