According to the information you have provided, your rank is approximately between 2000 and 2500. According to your rank, you did not get into Banaras Hindu University (BHU). But you may get admission into the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore; the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad; and the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU). No it is not recognised by ICAR. It is recognised by NAAC and UGC.

The candidates should have passed in Bachelors Degree in B.Sc. Or B.Sc. In Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry from any recognised university and stay tuned for update.

First of all, you have not mentioned the college name and also you have not mentioned your category so it is difficult for me to tell each and every college cutoff. However,
1- Banaras Hindu University ICAR Cutoff rank for the general category was 346.
2- Rani Laxmi Bai Central Agricultural University (RLBCAU), Jhansi ICAR Cutoff rank for the general category was 2105.
3- Viswa Bharti, PSBVB, Sriniketan, West Bengal ICAR Cutoff rank for the general category was 1638.
