For the ICAR-AICE JRF/SRF(Ph.D.) 2025:

First and Second Year: Rs. 37,000 per month.
Third Year: Rs. 42,000 per month.

For the ICAR AICE JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) 2025 exam, 9,940 candidates appeared out of a total of 11,116 who had registered for the examination.

Students who belong to the General/UPS/EWS/OBC Categories must score a minimum of 50 per cent for ICAR PG and students who belong to SC/ST/Transgender categories must score a minimum of 40 per cent marks to qualify for the ICAR PG Cutoff.

The exam pattern of ICAR AICE JRF SRF consists of a total of three sections:

Section A: This section has 72 subject-specific Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The first 20 questions are common and subject-based; a total of 72 specific subjects. 

Section B: This section consists of the subjects chosen by the students for PhD and there are a total of 50 MCQ questions included in this core group. 

The last date to challenge the ICAR JRF SRF 2024 Answer key was July 20, 2025.

TNAU admissions for students belonging to states other than Tamil Nadu are facilitated via ICAR. Thus, students seeking admission to university’s BSc Hons courses can apply via the ICAR UG exam. Tabulated below is the exam date for the year 2024:

Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST*or NEET or CUET or JEE Main (From Phase II Onwards).eligible for BSc Biotechnology Admissions. CUET, KITEEE, KCET, etc., are some of the most popular entrance exams to seek BSc Biotechnology Admission. Students must note that DU BSc Biotechnology Admission 2024 will be entirely done on the basis of CUET results.

GLA University admits students to its BSc courses based on marks obtained in the ICAR UG CET, ATT, etc. The results for the ICAR exam 2024 are expected to come out in the month of July. Students who wish to seek admission via ICAR counselling must keep visiting the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) to stay updated.
