There are the opinions that IIFD Chandigarh is one of the most recognised fashion institutes in the sphere of fashion and design in India, which according to the ranking of Outlook 2022 is on the 24 th position among fashion institutes in India. While there is no Tier 1 or Tier 2 label it is apparent that it is tied for a top tier school as you can see from the industry connections and the already mentioned 97% placement rate. The highest package offered to the IIFD Chandigarh students is quite attractive and the companies attracting the students include Wipro, Reliance, Oberois Group of Company, Lifestyle and so on. For instance, the highest package offered in 2024 was large measured on some standard but it has not been made public. But we do know that the average has been caught at INR 5.5 Lacs per annum in the package. Being an institute of high repute, 97% students get placement; 80% of the students got placed in Satya Paul, Marks & Spencer, Fevicryl etc.
