Final selections is based on a cumulative score of your written exam, Interview/GD and profile. If you score well in the other two areas with a weak academic score, you may still get in.

It is hectic but enjoyable and full of activities. It's just as good as if not better than any other B-School in the country.

Prepare as you would prepare for CAT. Also go through newspapers daily to prepare yourself for the General Knowledge section. Take mock tests.
Institution question is a bit vague. All IIM's are good along with IIFT, MDI, FMS, NITIE, NMIMS, SIBM, XLRI or any other institute that regularly appears in the top 20 list or top 30 list of MBA colleges

Hi Razi,
If possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute. However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute.
You can consider the below parameters
1) Faculty,
2) Affiliation / Recognition
3) Course Material,
4) Quality Education,
5) Fees
6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate.
8) Placement
9) Top recruiting companies.
Hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.

You should always aspire to score as high as you can. No score can ever guarantee you a success because there are multiple parameters on which you are being judged.

CET marks dont have any basis in IIFT. You have to clear IIFT written exams for entrance.

The call is solely based on the basis of entrance test. So yes if you do well in entrance you will get a interview call. But in interview the whole profile is examined. There you might lose marks.

There is no inter-relation between foreign job offers and prior work experience. Job is secured solely on the basis of your knowledge and talent.
That being said, there are some companies who offer job in African countries and they might put restrictions corresponding prior work experience. But this is an exception rather than a norm.
