Yes, there are reserved seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD categories. There are a percentage of seats reserved for candidates belonging to these categories. IIFT Delhi releases MBA cutoff list separately for reserved category candidates. The application fee for these category candidates is mentioned below:

Yes, the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade reserves a percentage of seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD categories. In addition, seat allotment for these categories can be done as per the norms of the Government of India. The institute also releases a separate cutoff list for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. Candidates can check below the category-wise IIFT Delhi MBA seat reservation percentage:

There are a total of 378 seats for MBA courses offered by IIFT Delhi. It varies from one MBA course to another. The seat allotment is done based on applicants CAT scores. Among all the MBA programmes, the highest seat intake is 258 for MBA in International Business. The seat intake is 60 each for the other two MBA programmes. It must be noted by the candidates that the mentioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

No, you cannot get direct admission at IIFT Delhi for MBA. The admission at IIFT Delhi for MBA are entrance based. Earlier, admission to MBA at the university was done through IIFT entrance exam. However form 2024 academic session, Candidates are selected based on qualifying marks scored in CAT entrance exam. Eligible candidates are shortlisted for Group discussions and in person interviews where they are further screened for final selection.

IIFT selection criteria and admission process 2024 for MBA International Business included online Extempore and Personal Interview (PI). The first stage of IIFT admission process included shortlisting of candidates on the basis of CAT 2023 score. In the second stage of the admission process, candidates had to participate in Extempore and PI round. Final selection list for IIFT admission was released on May 28, 2024 for MBA International Business and MBA Business Analytics. IIFT MBA admission wait list 2024 can be accessed at the institute website.
