The highest package for MBA students at IIHM, Guwahati is INR 80 LPA.

Students are eligible for campus assignments after their sixth semester. Placements for students are available from businesses such as Taj, Oberoi's, Marriott, Accor, Hyatt, Roseate, KFC, BurgerKing, and many more.

The IHM Guwahati Institute provides UG and PG courses, and the admission process for the undergraduate courses is done based on the candidate's performance in the entrance examinations NCHMCT, and JEE. The Popular UG course provided by the institute is in hospitality and hotel administration eligibility is the same as mentioned above. For the PG courses the eligibility criteria the students need to have a bachelor's degree from any graduation field, and the candidate must be no more than 25 years old at the time of admission. Sc/st candidate can apply up to the age of 28.

For IndianIHM Bachelor in Culinary Management, the candidates need an overall of 50% in Class 12 with English as a mandatory subject, and it lasts for three years. For Master's course, the candidates need a graduation degree with minimum 50% marks, and it lasts for two years. The Diploma in Culinary Management is of two years' duration and Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized school board in any stream.

Eligibility also involves passing Class 12 from any stream through a recognized board, with each course having special seat intakes specified.

IIHM Scholarship are listed below:

  • Students who secure above 85% (best of 5 subjects and marks of physical education will not be considered) in aggregate in class 12 will receive a tuition fee exemption of 20,250/-.
  • Students who secure above 90% (best of 5 subjects and marks of physical education will not be considered) in aggregate in class 12 will receive a tuition fee exemption of 40,500/-.
