In order to get admission to BA at IIHM Kolkata, candidates are required to pass Class 12 with English as one of the main subjects. Further, eligible candidates are required to qualify for e-CHAT entrance exam, which is an in-house entrance exam of IIHM Kolkata. Candidates are selected based on a valid score in e-CHAT exam, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview round.

In order to get admission to a three-year BA course at IIHM Kolkata, candidates are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. As per the minimum educational requirements, candidates who pass Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board with English as one of the core subjects are eligible for BA admission at IIHM Kolkata. Futher, candidates must have an Upper age limit of 22 years as per July 1, 2025.

No, students who want to get admission to BA at IIHM Kolkata need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as given by the institute. After that, they need to appear for eCHAT entrance exam, which is a mandatory step for the selection for BA course. The final selection is based on the performance of candidates in the Personal Interview. Hence, the institute does not provide direct admissions.
