The authority will release the cut-off marks percentage for various boards. It will be released for candidates applying through SCB channel. For reference purpose, previous year cut-off for the IISER SCB channel is given below:

Hi Sidhant,
JEE marks are not necessary to get into IISERs.
There are three ways-
1. JEE Mains exam and JEE Advanced exam (Top 10,000).
3. KVPY qualifiers can apply for 25 to 50 % of the seats.
4. There is an exam for which Board marks are the cut-off. There is an exam taken by IISER.
Same is for IISc and there is NISER Bhubaneswar, which a lot of people don't know about.

Basic eligibility to secure admission in IISER is mentioned below:
Qualifying Exam: Candidates must pass 10+2 examination with Science stream in 2017 or 2018. Minimum Marks: Candidates have to secure marks equal or above the cut-off percentage in their respective boards. Relaxation: There is 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for the OBC-NC & PwD category. Cut-Off Percentage: For SC/ST/KM category candidates, the cut-off percentage marks is 55% in 10+2 level for all boards. Candidates applying through SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test.

Hi Sagar,
The cut-off is not a constant and keeps changing every year and also depends on the education board. It may range from 60% to as high 90%. However, for SC/ST, students the criteria is 55% for all boards.

Yes, you can apply for admission in IISER through jee mains rank. You can try to get admission if your rank is good then you may get admission there.

IISER exam is divided into 4 parts and has 15 questions from Each Subject. Physics - 15 Questions
Chemistry -15 Questions
Maths- 15 Questions
Biology - 15 Questions
No Sectional Cut Offs. It is not compulsory to attempt biology but they will consider its marks in the total I. e. your marks will be out of 180. If you are a PCM Student- You can really do good in PCM Questions + Study NCERT Level Biology).
