Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana scholars admitted to IISERs will draw fellowship as per KVPY norms. In addition, Department of Science and Technology provides a limited number of INSPIRE scholarships of Rs.5000/- per month to candidates admitted through JEE and SCB channels, upon fulfilling the criteria set by DST. Students admitted to the BS programme in Engineering or Economics are not entitled for the scholarship.

The total tuition course fee for BTech at IISC Bangalore is INR 8 lakh. The total course fee includes various other components like Gymkhana fee, Library deposit, other academic fee, Statutory deposit, and Students emergency fund. The tution fee for SC/ST/PwD students is fully waived. Annual tuition fee can be paid in three installments. The BTech course at IISc Banglore is offered in 4 specialisations, out of which 3 specialisations are newly launched.
