Once the UCEED 2026 counseling process is over, the candidate is not allowed to shift from one institute to another. The candidate will have to select their preferred institute at the time of counseling registration.

IIT Bombay will conduct UCEED 2026 counseling registration in March 2026. Candidates who have been allotted a merit rank can apply.

If a qualifying Examination Board awards only letter grades without providing information on the passing grade on the grade sheet, the candidate should obtain a certificate from the Board specifying the passing grade and upload it along with the grade sheet. In case such a certificate is not provided, the decision taken by the UCI Committee will be final.

If you are appearing in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2027 you must ensure the following:

• (a) all parts of their final examination are completed by the date of application for admission, and
• (b) submit proof of having passed the qualifying examination with required eligibility by September 30, 2027 to the admitting institute.

No, candidates from m Commerce, Arts or Humanities at 10+2 are not eligible to apply for BDes admissions at IIITDM Jabalpur. 

For admission to BDes at IIITDM Jabalpur, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. The candidate is urged to carefully go through the detailed UCEED eligibility criteria before applying for admission.

IIT Bombay will not release any hard copies of the UCEED scorecard. The scorecard will be available online mode only.

The candidate will receive a compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour in Part A and 20 minutes for Part B. The compensatory time for Part-A cannot be transferred
to Part-B and vice versa.

The candidate must go through the detailed guidelines for using a scribe services given in the information brochure. 

Yes, you can use scribe service in UCEED exam.

The use of a scribe can be used by the candidate under the condition

• Candidates who have a disability and require assistance in operating the computer for Part-A of the examination
• Candidate has to upload a copy of the PwD certificate at the time of online registration for UCEED.

The UCEED 2025 application form will open in October 2024. With regular fees, the application can be filled till around the 2nd week of November 2024. However, with late fees, you can submit applications till the 3rd week of November 2024. The UCEED 2025 exam will be conducted in January 2025.Only those students who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in the year 2024 in all subjects or are appearing in the year 2025 in ANY STREAM (Science, Commerce, or Arts & Humanities) for the first time are eligible to appear for the UCEED 2025.
