The Part A paper of UCEED 2026 exam will be administered in a computer-based mode. So, the candidate must know the basics of computer handling to take the exam. Note that advanced knowledge of software and hardware is not needed to take the paper. Note that in the scenario there is a technical issue during the exam, the candidate may approach the invigilator for assistance. The invigilator will then take remedial steps to fix the problem. If the problem persists, the candidate will be assigned a different computer terminal.

IIT Bombay released the detailed exam pattern for UCEED 2026 on October 01, 2025. The exam pattern will be outlined in the information brochure for the UCEED 2026 exam. The candidate will be able to download the brochure online at UCEED. Iitb. AC. In. Note that no log-in is required to download the information brochure. IIT Hyderbad cutoff 2024 for the BDes course is out. UCEED exam is the basis on which IIT Hyderabad offers admission to the BDes course. Candidates with a valid UCEED cutoff are called for the round-wise UCEED Counselling. For the students belonging to the General AI quota, the IIT Bombay UCEED cutoff 2025 was 14 in the last round. The cutoff rank varies for different rounds and categories. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the category-wise UCEED cutoff 2025 for the last round. 

Obtaining All India Rank (AIR) 2735 in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced may never be a ticket to an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). For BDes UCEED scores are accepted in more than 30-40 colleges. While GLS Institute of Design Entrance Exam is only considered for GLS Institute. For UCEED students have to prepare two section Part A and B, both are conducted in English medium. While GLS DAT considers various parts with a interview. If you are targeting GLS Institute, then you should appear for GLD DAT, otherwise you should give UCEED Entrance exam.

UPES DAT exam will include objective-type (multiple-choice) questions. However, note that no official syllabus is released  for UPES DAT 2025 exam. So, aspirants can consider going through topics related to the BDes programme as shown below:

• Logical reasoning 

UPES DAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) for admission to design programs offered by the college. The UPES DAT exam includes a Design Aptitude Test (DAT).

The Design Aptitude Test will be conducted in an online mode. 

Aspirants who clear this admission round then need to appear for the interviews and portfolio round. 

The final result will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT, interviews and portfolio round.
