 UCEED application form is to be filled by candidates seeking admission to the B. Des programme. Also, UCEED scores are not considered for admission to the M.Des programme. So, the candidates must instead fill out the application form for CEED . Note that both the CEED and UCEED exams are conducted by IIT Bombay.

IIT Bombay will release a common application form for all the IITs for the UCEED 2027 Joint Seat Allocation on March 14, 2027, at 10 PM. The registration will open tentatively till April 10, 2027, 5:30 PM. 

IIT Bombay released the admission notification for UCEED 2027 on October 1, 2026.

Candidates can check out the notification online at the UCEED admission portal uceed.iitb.ac.in. IIT Bombay has launched a new admission portal for UCEED 2027. 

Yes, candidates from all streams can fill the application form of UCEED. Also, note that Biology will not be considered in place of Mathematics. The application form for UCEED 2027 must be filled out by candidates after ascertaining their eligibility. IIT Roorkee has the same eligibility criteria as IIT Guwahati.

The counselling for UCEED will be conducted online as a Joint Seat Allocation process. The counselling will be conducted in a centralised manner.

UCEED 2027 counselling will be conducted by IIT Bombay. The counselling process will have five rounds.

UCEED 2027 Joint Admission Process will not have any spot rounds. If there are any spot counselling rounds, it will be notified.

The allotment of seats for UCEED admission to the B.Des programme offered by participating colleges is based on the following parameters:

• UCEED merit rank of the candidate
• College option selected during registration.

The counselling process for UCEED 2027 will be conducted by IIT Bombay as a Joint Seat Allocation process.

To participate in UCEED 2027 counselling, the candidate must have qualified in the UCEED 2027 entrance exam and been allocated a merit rank.

This means that if the candidate has failed to qualify Part A exam, he or she will not be allocated a merit rank, and therefore is not eligible to take part in the counselling process.

The counselling for UCEED 2027 will be conducted online as a Joint Seat Allocation process. The counselling will be conducted in a centralized manner.

UCEED Round 2 Counselling will begin on May 19, 2027. The last day to accept the seat and pay the seat acceptance fee is May 27, 2027, 6:00 PM.
