Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai Eligibility

The eligibility for the MBA programme at ICT Mumbai is that candidates are required to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in their graduation. Candidates are required to participate in the admission process and pay the course fee if they get the final shortlist. Candidates who clear the eligibility criteria of the MBA programme can only fill-out the application form for admissions. 

Aspirants who are willing to get admission to the MBA programme at ICT Mumbai must qualify for the basic eligibility criteria, that is, candidates must have completed a UG degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Moreover, students must also have appeared for the MAH MBA CET exam conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).

Yes, ICT Mumbai accepts various entrance exams for admission to UG, PG, and doctoral courses. The entrance exam includes JEE Main, MHT CET, GATE, NEET, GPAT and others. To get admission to any courses candidates are to appear in accepted entrance exam. Additionaly, candidates are required to apply to the official website of the university and fill out the admission form.

ICT Mumbai offers entrance-based admission to all its courses. To be eligible for admission candidates, must fulfill the eligibility criteria to get admission. For instance, UG candidates must have completed their Class 12 and PG applicants must have a UG degree. Additionaly, candidates must apply and appear for the entrance exam accepted by the university.

ICT Mumbai offers three specialisations under its MPharma programme. The specialisations are Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Medicinal Natural Products. Admission to all these courses is based on GPAT. However, in order to be eligible the candidate must also meet the following eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must have passed the BPharma degree from the ICT or any UGC-recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks.
• A five percent relaxation is provided to students belonging to the backward class candidate only from Maharashtra State.

To be eligible for BTech at ICT Mumbai, candidates must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects (40% for Backward Class, EWS and PwD category candidates of Maharashtra). Else, those who have done a Diploma in Engineering or BSc exam from a recognised institute of Maharashtra with 45% aggregate (40% for Backward Class, EWS and PwD category candidates of Maharashtra) can also apply for BTech at ICT. There is, however, no age limit to be eligible for admission.

To be eligible for M.Tech at ICT Mumbai, candidates must have passed a relevant UG degree with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA for the backward class candidates).
