To get into ICT Mumbai for the BTech course specialisations, you would need to attempt the MHT CET entrance examination, attain a valid score and then participate in the MHT CET counselling process. This is the whole procedure to get a seat at ICT Mumbai for the BTech courses. All categories of students have to go through this process. For more details, click here.

NO — you are NOT eligible for lateral entry (direct 2nd year) in ICT Mumbai.

  • ICT Mumbai does NOT offer lateral entry admission into B.Tech programs (including Food Engineering).

  • Even if you have a Diploma in Food Technology (like from Parul University), you cannot directly join 2nd year B.Tech there.

  • Admission is only through:

    • JEE Main

    • or MHT CET

  • You must apply for first-year B.Tech, not lateral entry.
