As per the reports by shiksha.com kG Somaiya Institute of engineering and information Technology has a overall total seat of 480 seats for its students in BTech that is bachelor of degree program specialisation in particular with artificial intelligent and data sciences with highest number of seats intake. The University has also shown a good record of placement in 2022. Also located in the prime location in the city of Mumbai which is the highly attractive destination for various students for pursuing b.tech.

The placement records of KG Somaiya Institute of engineering and information Technology has a good record for a particular field of BTech in specialization of artificial intelligence at data sciences with the overall achieving percentage of 95% in placement. Record for the year of 2022 were reportingly were the highest with overall achieving rate of 90% with an average salary of 400000 per annum. Tuition itself is top institutions in Mumbai in terms of placement records. It has shown green sign in various placement programs.

In 2022–2023 around 60-80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, and the lowest was INR 3 LPA. The average salary package is around 6 LPA which is pretty good. The oppurtunities are provided but it's onto to the students to grab. Capgemini, HCL, TCS, Infosys, and many other companies visit for recruitment.

At KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering & Information Technology (KJSIEIT), the placements for B.Tech students are highly encouraging. The campus attracts major corporations each year and boasts an excellent placement record.
