ILNU Ahmedabad UG/PG courses are eligible for the candidates that secure a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 or 50% in graduation. Candidates must qualify CLAT to secure a seat at this Institute. ILNU Ahmedabad sanctions 180 seats for a BA LLB and 90 seats for BCom LLB. For LLM, the Institute provids 30 seats.

ILNU Ahmedabad was established in 2007 as a constituent institute of Nirma University. It is a part of the Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF) and is a private institute. Spread across 120 acres of land, ILNU Ahmedabad is NAAC accredited with a grade of 'A+' and is UGC-recognised. ILNU Ahmedabad does not have any other branch as it is a constituent institute of Nirma University. However, Nirma University has around 8 other constituent institutes catering to different sets of courses through each.

The India Today has ranked it on 18, while IIRF 2024 has ranked it 7, The Week ranked ILNU Ahmedabad, 14 and Outlook ranked it on rank 7.
