The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in any field from a university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the Association of Indian Universities, with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent. As for the CAT or other entrance exam score requirements, they are determined by the year's cutoff.

Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate level programs such as BMS, B.Com (BAF), B.Com (BBI), and B.Com (BFM) must have passed the 12th standard examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and obtained no less than 45% marks in aggregate on the first attempt (40% in the case of reserve category).
Any applicant enrolled in a degree course at an associated college must register with the University of Mumbai. Until then, admission will be deemed provisional.
