Institute of Management Development and Research- IMDR

Institute of Management Development and Research is a private college and was established in 1974 as a constituent unit of the Deccan Education Society. It is one of the leading Management colleges in Pune and offers AICTE-approved courses to students. The college is affiliated with the University of Pune, accredited by the NBA,  and a member of AIU. Further, IMDR Pune is also approved by DTE and its PGDM courses are given equivalence to an MBA programme by AIU.

IMDR Pune offers two courses, namely PGDM at PG level and FPM at doctoral level. Candidates can pursue PGDM programme in a full-time mode across nine specialisations. Admission to both the courses is entrance-based. Candidates can apply for both the programme in online mode at the college's official website.

As per the IMDR Pune fee structure, there are multiple components including in the total fee. Students need to pay a certain amount of fee at the time of admission to confirm their seats. The total fee for two years of PGDM course is INR 6 lakh.

Moreover, the fee for FPM programme, the course fee for first and second year is INR 2 lakh. For remaining years, candidates must pay INR 1 Lacs per year. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change.

Candidates must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria of the programme to get a seat in the MBA course at IMDR Pune. The eligible candidates must appear and qualify for any one of the entrance exams, including CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ MH-CET/ CMAT. Candidates who qualify the exam can apply for the MBA course directly on the college's website. The final selection is based on candidates' performance in the PI round.
