IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus only offers one specialisation in the MSc course, i.e., MSc in Biotechnology. To get admissions into MSc courses, candidates must complete their BSc degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Agriculture with at least 50% marks for Gen/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates. Moreover, the selection process is based on merit, which is evaluated on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in their BSc degree.

The basic eligibility criteria required by the institute to get admissions into the BCA course are candidates must complete their Class 12 from any recognised board or stream with at least an aggregate of 45% to 55%. To get admission into the BCA course, candidates are required to qualify for the merit.
