No, it is not compulsory to complete a BSc in Biotechnology to get admission into an MSc in Biotechnology at IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus. Because the institution also accepts other subjects for admission to MSc courses, such as BSc in Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Agriculture. Therefore, candidates who have completed their BSc degree in the mentioned subjects, and secured a minimum aggregate of 50% are eligible to apply for the course.

The minimum scores required for admissions to BSc courses at IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus range around 40% to 45%. The eligibility criteria that is available on the official website of the college is candidates must complete their Class 12 from a recognised board of education. In addition, candidates must have studied Science subjects, including PCB/PCM/PCMB/Agriculture/Biotechnology.

IMS Ghaziabad UC Campus offers two specialsaitions in BSc courses, and Gochar Mahavidyalaya offers four specialisations in BSc courses. In addition, IMSUCC offers BSc courses for the duration of three-years. Whereas, Gochar Mahavidyalaya offers BSc courses for the duration of three to four years. Hence, GDMGC Ghaziabad is more affordable for BSc courses compared to IMS Ghaziabad UCC.
