MBA placements at Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University is goos as per the recent records. The the highest package and average package offered to MBA & MBA-International Business students during placements 2024 stood at INR 23.50 LPA and INR 11.10 LPA, respectively. The the highest package and average package offered to MBA-Agribusiness during FMS BHU placements 2024 were INR 16.33 LPA and INR 8.81 LPA, respectively. According to placement statistics, SMS Varanasi has a lower placement than IMS BHU.
In IMS BHU, during 2023 placements, the highest and average package offered to MBA and MBA-International Business were INR 38 LPA and INR 11.30 LPA. Also, the highest and average packages offered to MBA -Agribusiness were INR 15 LPA and INR 7.19 LPA respectively.
Whereas, in SMS Varanasi, the highest and average packages offered to students were INR 7.95 LPA and INR 4.81 LPA respectively during 2023 placements and INR 12.5 LPA and INR 3.88 LPA during 2022 Placements. But placement percentage is increase in 2023. Also, top recruiters include Airtel,

The placement data for BCA courses are not released officially. However, the combined placement details for UG (3-year) courses are revealed in the NIRF report 2022. As per the report, a total of 72 UG (3-year) students graduated in 2021. Out of these, 59 students were placed during IMS Kolkata placements 2021. Further, the median package offered to UG (3-year) students during Institute of Management Study Kolkata placements 2021 was INR 10.20 LPA.

The institute has not released course-wise placement data. However, the combined placement statistics for PG (2-year) courses are released in the NIRF report 2022. A total of 65 PG (2-year) students graduated in 2021. Out of these, 28 were placed during IMS Kolkata placements 2021. This makes the placement rate almost 43%. The placement details for the 2020 drive are unavailable. Earlier, out of 15 PG (2-year) students 8 were placed during 2019 placements. This makes the placement rate almost 53%.
