Pursuing B.E./B.Tech in this institute has a good academic worth to it as it has well-equipped laboratories, big classrooms, and a good library. Faculties possess post graduate or above qualification (M.Tech/ Ph.D.) and approach students through lectures, projects and exposure to the real world. The curriculum attempts to provide a foundation in the major areas of engineering excellence, inculcate innovation by creating research domains (AIML, VLSI, renewable energy) and equip the students to face challenges in the industry.

To be able to take the B.E./B.Tech, there must be completion of 10+2, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Selection is done by Andhra Pradesh EAPCET counseling process which is undertaken by JNTU Kakinada and students are admitted to seats on the basis of their ranks. No institute level entrance test. The institute is approved and affiliated to AICTE which guarantees uniformity of assessment of the applicants because it is checked at state level.

The fees payable to the Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Institute of Technology and Science is around 70,000 - 80,000 a year (non AC). AC rooms are more expensive ranging at 1,00,000 -1,50,000 per year. The room and basic furnishing fees are applicable, where the mess is charged separately. There are washrooms, the provision of free Wi-Fi, water, electricity throughout the day and night, and daily cleaning to keep the places clean.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at SITS - Sinhgad Institute of Technology and Science, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for either the JEE Mains or the MHT CET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.

Yes, SITS - Sinhgad Institute of Technology and Science has a separate placement cell. The cell works actively in preparing students for jobs and internships. It also invites various companies to participate in the placement drives. The highest package offered at the college is INR 56 LPA, and the average package is around INR 6 LPA.
