For B.E. / B.Tech at Jaya Institute of Technology (JIT) Tiruvallur, Chennai, candidates generally need to have passed HSC (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. A minimum aggregate of 45% marks is usually required (40% for reserved categories). Admission may be based on 12th marks and/or entrance exams like TNEA.

KGISL Institute of Technology (KITE) generally requires candidates to have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with a minimum of 50% marks, including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, from a recognised board. Admissions are based on merit and participation in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process.

For B.E / B.Tech admission at Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology KKIT, you need to have passed class twelve with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

General category students need at least 45 percent marks in these subjects combined.

Reserved category students need to have around 40 to forty 45 percent marks.

Admission is done through TNEA counselling based on your class 12th marks.

Direct / lateral entry into second year is possible for Diploma holders based on their Diploma percentage.

To be eligible for be B.Tech at Kallam Haranadareddy Institute of Technology, candidates need to have pass class 10 + 2 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as subjects Minimum 45% aggregate marks is generally required for the general category and 40% for the reserved category.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at Sumathi Reddy Institute of Technology for Women, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board.
