It was established in 1982. VISET has a good reputation and placement rate. VISET is an self financing Engineering college in Mumbai, it is recognised as a Tier 1 college and was recognised as rank 1 in private engineering institutes in Maharashtra state by Education World Magazine in the Private Engineering Institutes Ranking 2020-21.
The placement rate is also quite good almost all students gets placed and they have a good placement cell, almost everyone in the college got internships. The oldest engineering college with 25 years of excellence and the placement percentage they have is about 60%.
