Institute of Engineering and Management and HIT - Haldia Institute of Technology both are renowned universities for B.E. / B.Tech. However, in terms of affordability, Institute of Engineering and Management is a better option since the total tuition fee for Institute of Engineering and Management is INR 417,400 and the total tuition fee for B.E. / B.Tech at HIT - Haldia Institute of Technology is INR 279,050 - INR 426,700.
In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering at IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 1633 for OBC, 851 for SC, 257 for ST, 693 for EWS, 156 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

No, candidates are not allowed for direct admission at Knowledge Institute of Technology. For MBA course admission, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. Aspirants should pass Graduation with a 50% aggregate. The admission criteria for the course is TANCET.

Knowledge Institute of Technology admission enquiry form 2025 is currently open. However, the MBA admission is open. Till now, no schedule has been released by the institute. Since the application portal is live, candidates can apply online for MBA course. The institute offers more than 10 courses (including specialisations) in the streams of Engineering and Management Studies, etc.

Candidates have to apply on the official TNEA website. Engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu offer admission based on the results of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions TNEA exam.
