AISSMS Institute of Information Technology, Pune was established in August 1999. AISSMS stands for All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society which manages the college affairs. The college was formerly known as Women's College of Engineering and was open to girls only, but now, it is co-educational college. It is a self-financing college and is affiliated to the University of Pune.

3. Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT)
It is a government-owned autonomous university in Kochi (Cochin), Kerala. It was founded in 1971. The university awards degrees in engineering and allied subjects at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The university was reorganized as Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in February 1986.
4. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Kharagpur)
This is the first IIT funded by AICTE provides opportunities for teachers sponsored by AICTE approved engineering colleges to improve their qualification by acquiring M.Tech and Ph.D. degrees from some of the reputed institutions in the country. Admitted candidates are paid scholarship in addition to the salary from the sponsoring colleges.

Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology is an institution that I can recommend for Instrumentation engineering, as in India very few colleges train you well in this particular specialization and this is among those few. Even by the time, the placement in this specialization has also tremendously increased at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
