Interior Design Eligibility

To pursue interior design course, you need to pass 12th in any stream. There is no age limit. You need to sit for an entrance exam.

As far as salary is concerned, it depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
But, still, to give you a brief idea,
- A fresher can start to earn about Rs.8,000 to Rs.10,000 pm.
- With experience the salary may surge up to Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 75,000 per month.

Swati, There are many careers for the creative/ artistic people. Interiors, textile as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense. Journalism also is at this level and relies on your language skills and knowledge of history and current affairs. A little higher perches Graphic Design, Fashion Design, jewellery design, Acting, and Fine Arts which rely on one of your artistic skills - sketching and imagination. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills and imagination.
