For the Design Aptitude Test, there isn't much that you can do. The first and most important requirement is that you have a talent for design. The NID papers are designed in such a way that only those who have a creative side will be able to clear them.
The question paper is a mix of creativity, general knowledge, and logical thinking. You need to be aware of the latest news and make it a habit to read the newspaper every day.
