As a new graduate in the Interior Design field, you can either opt for an internship opportunity to gain expertise under a Senior or go for entry-level jobs such as Associate Designer, Interior Design Executive, Associate Consultant, Assistant Professor, etc. However, getting internship opportunities in big companies is relatively easier than getting a job if you're a fresher.

I believe, having a work-life balance depends on the career and the organisation you choose. Every course under Interior Design specialisation is beneficial for many reasons, such as knowledge gain, skills gain, internship options, placement opportunities, etc. To strike a work-life balance, you'll need to maintain a line between your work and personal life.

UCEED is an Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design, which is a national-level exam conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to the BDes programs at several IITs. The syllabus and exam pattern of UCEED is generally the same for every BDes specialization, be it Interior Design or others.
Coming back to your question, the UCEED exam can be slightly difficult as it includes concept-based questions, mathematical & analysis, general knowledge, and creativity-related questions. But don't worry, you can revise last year's UCEED question paper to have an overview of questions you can expect in the test.

However, the job security, salary package, designation, projects, etc., also vary depending on the company you work for, your company's geographical location, goodwill, etc.
For example, an Interior Design organisation situated in Metro cities like Delhi, Gurugram, or Bangalore will attract more a
