As a new graduate in the Interior Design field, you can either opt for an internship opportunity to gain expertise under a Senior or go for entry-level jobs such as Associate Designer, Interior Design Executive, Associate Consultant, Assistant Professor, etc. However, getting internship opportunities in big companies is relatively easier than getting a job if you're a fresher.

The main entrance exams for Interior Design course admission such as NIFT Entrance, NID Entrance, Common Entrance Examination for Design, FDDI All India Selection Test (FDDI AIST), Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), etc., are conducted on center-based mode. However, UCEED test is a computer-based entrance you can opt for.

Well both the Interior Design and Architecture programs have international recognition, Architecture comparatively holds higher significance because of its wider career scope, complex technical elements, and established professional bodies that oversee architectural practice worldwide.
Interior Design is focused on the aesthetics and functionality of an existing property (office, home, restaurant, or hotel), however, Architecture deals in the design and construction of the property.
