There are more than 200 BSc in Interior Design colleges in India, including government and private entities. Therefore, the fee strcutre of every college differs depending on their course curriculum, college rating, placement record, etc. However, the average course fee ranges between INR 27,000 to INR 31.5 Lakh.

The practical sessions are project work of every college offering a BSc in Interior Design course can vary depending on their course curriculum. However, some common project works given to  Interior Design students include:

  • Choosing suitable building materials as per end-use.
  • Practising Vaastu Shastra techniques.
  • Landscaping of any outdoor space.
  • Designing interiors of spaces like residential and commercial.
  • Creating layouts and budgets for residential, and commercial buildings.

No, a portfolio for BSc Interior Design course admission is not mandatory. Portfolios are generally required at the time of Master's or Doctoral degree programme admissions, or job interviews. A portfolio contains your work samples, completed projects, work experience, recognitions, etc.

No, passing Class 12 from the Science stream is not mandatory to be eligible for BSc Interior Designing program. BSc in Interior Design programme covers technical and scientific elements related to Interior Design such as lighting, sustainable practices, etc. However, you can pursue BSc Interior Design regardless of the stream you had in Class 12.

ARCH College of Design and Business BDes in Interior Design is a 4 year UG level programme. ACDB Jaipur offers BDes in Interior Design in affiliation with University of Rajasthan. The college offers this course based on the eligibility of merit and AIEED entrance exam.

ARCH College of Design and Business fee structure offers BDes in Interior Design for the total tuition fees of INR 13.2 Lacs to INR 17.4 Lakh. Apart from tuition fees, ACDB Jaipur fee structure includes one-time payments of registration fee, caution fee (refundable) and application fee for INR 52K. Therfore, the total fees is INR 17.92 Lakh.

No, Group Discussions or Personal Interview rounds are not mandatory in the BDes in Interior Design admission process. Fulfilling the eligibility criteria and obtaining a good rank in the entrance exam is the only step you need to clear to be eligible for the BDes in Interior Design admission.

No, having a portfolio is not mandatory in the BDes in Interior Design admission process. Portfolios are generally required at the time of higher programme admissions. A portfolio contains a sample of your work like sketches, drawings, photographs of finished projects, work experience, recognitions, etc.

Here are some important you should carry during the BDes Interior Design admission process to ensure a seamless admission process completion:

  • Class 10 and 12 markheet
  • Valid ID Proof (Adhaar, PAN Card, Passport, etc.)
  • Passport size photographs
