Des is more of a professional course with practical & drafting skills with more job opportunities & scope whereas Lifestyle Accessory Design is a discipline under design that creates accessories such as hats, jewelry, scarves, belts, handbags, and watches; all of the small details that complete a fashionable outfit. Jewellery and leather designing are a part of accessory design.

50% of marks are required and necessary for B.Des at Symbiosis institute of Design in the class 10th and 12th, these are cut off percentages for getting admission into the B.Des at Symbiosis any stream or background of class 12th not required for getting admission
