To get into LPU's Masters in Interior Design, candidates need a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks. A 5% relaxation applies for North-East states, Sikkim, or defence dependents. Qualifying LPUNEST or relevant entrance scores helps secure a spot, especially with English proficiency from prior studies. Higher marks like 60% open scholarship options. This keeps admission accessible yet merit-based.

Lovely Professional University offers interior design–related programmes under its School of Interior and Furniture Design, with both Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) options in Interior and Furniture. The courses focus on practical skills, studio work, and industry‑oriented projects rather than only theoretical study. On the official LPU website, the interiors track is listed as a regular, institute‑level programme with defined eligibility, duration, and curriculum, so a dedicated interior design path is available for students.

The final-year thesis is a crucial part of the entire BArch course at Rachana Sansad School of Architecture and Interior Design. Under the thesis, students can select a design topic of their interest and work on it independently under faculty guidance. This thesis helps students to display their creative skills in job interviews, as companies evaluate a student's design thinking and presentation skills.

Yes, practical training is an essential part of the BArch course at Rachana Sansad School of Architecture and Interior Design. Students are usually required to complete an internship in an architectural firm during their studies. This allows them to observe how projects are handled in real offices, interact with clients, and understand site work. Internship experience strengthens practical knowledge and improves employability. It also helps students build a professional portfolio before graduation.
