All the B Arch admissions are base on state level entrance exams or AEEE or JEE or NATA etc. And the eligibility criteria to appear for these exams is either 10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics or 10+3 with mathematics as main subject. Therefore diploma in interior design won't provide eligibility neither to appear for entrance exams nor to take up the admission to B Arch course directly, unless one should possess 10+2 with science stream or 10+3 with mathematics as main subject.

GGSIPU is accepting the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design UCEED entrance scores for B.Des admission. However, if seats remains vacant after UCEED counseling than NID that entrance scores will be considered for admission. Further IPU is not conducting any entrance exam for B.Des admission. So you have to write UCEED exam for getting admission here in B.Des course.

Yes you can do the M.Des Interior Design course after completion of your B. Des. The following entrance exams can be write for admission in M.Des Interior Design course.
1. Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED)
2. NID that.

B. Des Interior design is the best. The duration of B. Des Interior design is four years, while B.Sc. Interior design is of three years. The admission in B. Des course are based on All India Entrance test conducted by respective Universities, where as the maximum admission in B.Sc. Interior design are done on the basis of 12th marks. So we can say that B. Des. Interior design is a professional degree of 4 years, while B.Sc. Interior design is an academic degree.
