Yes, an architect is an interior designer but it does not work the other way around as Architects are more focused on the technical requirements, interior designers on the human psychology and emotional aspects of spaces.

An interior designer is trained in creating a functional and quality interior environment. Architects are more focused on the technical requirements, interior designers on the human psychology and emotional aspects of spaces. Architect has a better pay.

The salary package offering depends upon the college from you are doing the Interior design course. Students of top design colleges like NID and CEPT University are getting higher salary package and can be ranges between 10-15 LPA. While from other colleges this can be between 5-8 LPA. Further scholarships and financial aids are available in colleges and can be availed after meeting their criteria.

Eligibility criterion of Bachelor of Design: A candidate must pass Senior Secondary 10+2 from any stream with a minimum of 50 percent marks. Admission to Bachelor of Design courses shall be based upon merit in the qualifying examination. So, there is no entrance exam at Banasthali University Jaipur, and the admissions will be based on 10+2 marks. I hope this will help you. If you have any other queries please ask.
