Yes, the difficulty level of the IIFT question paper may affect the admission cut offs.  If the difficulty level of the IIFT question paper is high, the admission cut off may be lower and if the question paper is easy the admission cut off may be high. The IIFT cut offs also depend upon overall scoring trend and pass percentage of the given year.

 The difficulty level of IIFT 2023 question paper was moderate to high, similar to IIFT 2022, thus the cut offs were in same range as previous years. 

In an IIFT question paper having 110 questions, about 65-70 accurate answers are considered a good attempt. In IIFT exam, candidates must aim to solve at least 70 questions accurately so as to score a good percentile in the exam for selection of admission to MBA-International Business programme. Sectional cut offs are equally important in IIFT selection process, thus candidates must try to solve 2/3^rd of the total questions in every section of the question paper. IIFT exam has 110 questions in total. Section wise, the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension section has 35 questions, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning section has 30 questions, Quantitative Aptitude has 25 and General Awareness section has 20 questions. Overall, the weightage of VARC section is maximum exam and candidates must try to solve about 27-30 questions to score well in this section. Within the sections, weightage of topics can vary from year to year. For example, in one year, the Quantitative Aptitude section may have more geometry questions than previous years.

The difficulty level of IIFT exam is usually high, with tricky VARC and calculation intensive Quants. The IIFT 2023 question paper was also of moderate difficulty level. VARC was moderate to tough, so was the DILR section. The Quant section was tougher than VARC, DILR and GA.

IIFT response sheet and answer key are made available for download from the official website of NTA-IIFT for two to three days. The answer key download is activated about 10-15 days after the exam. Candidates can check the IIFT response sheet and answer key at the NTA website by using their login credentials, i.e. IIFT application number and date of birth. The final IIFT answer key (if the preliminary answer key is revised in response to objections received) is released as a PDF and is available without login. The final answer key is released either with the result or a couple of days after result announcement.

Yes, the NTA releases IIFT answer keys after the exam. The candidate's response sheet and official IIFT answer key are released in online mode at the official website of IIFT exam and institute about 15 days after the exam. Candidates can download their response sheet by logging in with IIFT application number and password. The response sheet and answer key are released for only those candidates who appear in the exam. The reason to release the answer key is to ensure that candidates are aware of correct and incorrect answers and can assess on what basis they will be marked.

There is no arrangement for depositing bags and valuables at the IIFT exam centre. Thus, candidates must not carry anything else than IIFT admit card, photo ID, pen, face mask, hand-sanitizer and drinking water bottle. In case, they are carrying a bag or such item, they will have to make arrangement themselves of keeping it safe. Information related to items to carry and not carry will be mentioned in every candidate's admit card. They should read all the exam related instructions and guidelines printed on the IIFT admit card one or two days before the IIFT exam. 

No, candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic gadget to the IIFT exam centre. This is to prevent cheating or any kind of malpractice by any candidate. For the assistance of candidates an onscreen calculator will be present on the computer screen and pen and paper for rough work will be provided inside the exam hall. Candidates can use the rough sheet and pen for calculation and leave them at the test lab before exiting. However, the best practice is to use mental calculation for saving time as IIFT is a time bound test and you have to attempt about 100 questions in 2.5 hours.
