Candidates need to have a JEE Main rank irrespective of their category for admission in BTech course of IIIT Bhubaneswar. Aspirants need to participate in JEE Main/ CSAB Counselling with the JEE Main rank. The seats are allotted to candidates with rank equal or above the JEE cutoff.

IIIT Bhubaneswar admissions are entrance-based. Candidates need to have a JEE Main rank for BTech admission. The selection for M.Tech courses is based on GATE scores of candidates. Aspirants can also get admission in vacant M.Tech seats by appearing for written test and personal interview conducted by the institute. IIIT Bhubaneswar also conducts written test and PI for PhD admission.

Yes, all candidates who wish to apply for the IIIT Bhubaneswar BTech courses must clear the JEE Mains to qualify for admissions. The allocation of seats is done during the JoSAA or CSAB counseling rounds on the basis of JEE Mains score.
For Odisha candidates also the JEE Mains is a mandatory entrance exam for BTch admissions at IIIT Bhubaneswar.

IIIT Bhubaneswar conducts six different seat allotment rounds in one year to admit candidates into the BTech course. The allotment of seats during these rounds is done on the basis of candidate's score in the JEE Mains. These six seat allotment rounds are usually conducted between the months of July and August.
