College is good. I think it could be better in the future.

Placements: From the 5th semester, students will become eligible for campus placements. DE Shaw, Dell, Oracle, and Infosys are the different recruiting companies. The highest package is 42 LPA and the average is 10 LPA. Almost 90% of students got placed. DE Shaw and Dell offer software development and pay a stipend. The stipend is for 3 months and we need to work for 3 months in the summer time. The projects are related to app development and some electronics and electrical inventions.

Infrastructure: Hostel is decent, but it is little old. A room consists of three people. Rooms have one light, three fans, beds, tables, chairs, and almirahs provided individually. The meal quality of mess is pretty decent. It is edible sometimes it's good and the menu has now improved.

Faculty: The curriculum is very old, no new things are taught. The things that are taught now have no use in the future or in our personal growth that can ensure a good experience for the future. The teaching method is very bad. Faculty members are less. Faculty members are easily approachable and a good relationship can be established. Some faculty members are good but the rest don't teach properly. There are four exams two quizzes one mid-sem and end-sem. Some portions of curriculum are relevant whereas some are not. Subjects like DSA, DBMS, and operation systems are important for our career but some subjects like chemistry and mechanical engineering are not that useful but still curriculum is average.

Other: There is sports ground. Hostel gate closes at 9:30 PM. Library closes at 8:00 PM. Nescafe is available inside the campus. Food stalls are available outside the campus. It is safe to roam around at night both inside and outside of the campus.

Review of International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar.

Placements: Placements in our branch and batch were quite good. However, better salary packages were offered to M.Tech students. Around 50-60% of the students got placed through campus placements. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the average package offered was 3.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Samsung, Accenture, Cognizant, ITC Infotech, etc., visited the campus for placements. Very few students of our batch opted for internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was under development. However, the hostel was good and has a good mess, washing machines, aqua guard, power backups, Wi-Fi facility, etc. The college infrastructure was good. There are sophisticated computer labs, good library, well-furnished classrooms, etc.

Faculty: There are highly educated associate professors, professors and assistant professors in IIIT BH. They were good at imparting knowledge to students. But, a few of them were new, so a bit weak in sharing their knowledge. The course curriculum was relevant as it enlightens students with prerequisite knowledge for the industry.

Other: I enjoyed while pursuing masters in IIIT BH.

A place full of opportunities.

Placements: Placement is neither bad nor good. However, the college provides 100% placement. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.8 LPA. The average salary package is 4 LPA. Various companies visited the college, and the number of recruiters is increasing every year. Dell offers an internship with PPO.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are large and spacious, and they are properly ventilated. The academic books are issued by the library, so there is no need to buy books from outside. We have a doctor near our hostel for a medical check-up. The hostel and academic blocks are very close, so no need to spend energy on reaching the classroom on time. We have a basketball court, two lawn tennis courts, volleyball court and a football field. The food provided in the canteen is good when compared with most of the colleges.

Faculty: IIIT Bhubaneswar has got great faculty and mentors. The course curriculum was similar to that of IIT, Kharagpur. Professors are highly qualified and encourage students to push them to their limits and increase their efficiency. Professors also encourage the students in research and industrial activities.

Other: The college organises many college fests and even other fests. The college also organises an annual techno-cultural fest named Advaita.
