This line is doing pretty well and with the new advent of new technology with every year, its gloing to bloom.
The average starting salary of an Electronics and Communication degree holder is between INR 3.5 lakh and INR 4.5 lakh per annum. Fresher candidates usually get a starting salary of INR 20,000 to INR 30,000 per month depending upon their interview performance and knowledge. The salary package offered to an IIT graduate is on higher side the average salary is INR 10.55 lakh per annum and maximum is INR 25 lakh per annum.

Hi Sanjay,
You can retain your seat till you pay the fees. Later you can withdraw, normally the fees will be refunded after deducting a small amount. But there is a deadline for this. And every college has a different refund policy. Pls go through the college's refund policy before you take a decision.

Placements of IIIT Bangalore are quite good. The lowest package offered was 8 Lacs per annum. The average package offered was 14 Lacs per annum. The highest package offered was 36 Lacs per annum.

He/she may get IIIT Bangalore in ECE dual degree at this rank. Last year the cutoff was 170 / 360 for this course, that means rank was near to 16 K. So chances are there.
