Aspirants must pass Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised board from any stream (Arts, Commerce or Science) to apply for BDes programme at ITM Institute of Design and Media. Candidates must have documents to prove their eligibility for verification. 

The total seats in BDes course is 200 at ITM Institute of Design and Media. The intake in each BDes specialisation is 40. Aspirants have to pass the entrance test conducted by the institute followed by a PI round to get a seat in the BDes course.

ITM-IDM Mumbai BDes curriculum requires candidates to pursue one internship throughout the duration of their course. BDes curriculum provides a break between the 2nd and 3rd year to pursue an internship to the students.

Students without spoken fluent English can get admission at ITM Institute of Design and Media. The institute evaluates the academic performance, entrance test scores, portfolio of the aspirants for admission. The institute has a TALEWIND department to train students under experience faculty. The training includes fluency in spoken English, communication, presentation skills, etc.
