ITM University Gwalior has defined eligibility requirements for BTech Lateral Entry courses. As per the criteria, students must have completed a three-year diploma in any branch of engineering with at least 50% marks from an institute. Other than this, students who have completed a BSc with at least 50% marks from any central/state university, with Physics and Mathematics at the intermediate level, are also eligible to apply.

Students who do not wish to take the university's in-house entrance test can also take admission based on JEE Main results.
