A pass in Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XII) conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or equivalent is necessary for admission to the Bachelor of Arts (Advertising & Journalism) programme at Jai Hind College. Admission will be provided on the basis of a minimum aggregate score of 60% marks. Merit-based selection process and in addition, candidates also need to appear for the Jai Hind College Common Entrance Exam (CEE), which would help in finalizing the admission decision with board exam results.

Candidates seeking admission to the BCom are required to meet the Jai Hind College BCom eligibility. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent from any other Board are eligible for Jai Hind College BCom admission.

Applicants must have completed the Maharashtra State Board of Higher & Secondary Education or an equivalent programme from another Board with a minimum cumulative score of 45% (40% reserved category) to be considered for admission to Jai Hind College.
