The total intake for Jamia Hamdard BTech is 270. The intake vary specialisation-wise for BTech course. Candidates are alloted seat based on their JEE score. Selected aspirants need to book their seat by paying the course fee. Below is BTech specialisation-wise seat intake:

Students pursuing BTech CSE from Jamia Hamdard have to choose an elective during the course. Professional Electives are introduced in four threads besides the Open Elective. There are 6 slots for Professional Electives and 4 slots for Open Electives. The department may permit students to take 50% of these (Professional electives + open electives) from other disciplines, based on the choices of the students and Consent of Course advisors. Once the aspirants are shortlisted for BTech programme based on JEE Main score, they need to come for counselling and document verification round. Candidates need to bring the below documents for verification:

No, Jamia Hamdard does not provide direct admission. The selection for BTech is based on JEE Main result. In case of delay in the conduct of JEE or if JEE candidates are not available, the university may offer admission based on merit of aggregate percentage of first five subjects of the qualifying examination. After completion of all the selection rounds, the university releases a selection list with the names of selected candidates. Such candidates recieve an email with further instructions. Aspirants need to pay their course fee to confirm their seat in the university.
