To get admissions into the part-time MMS course at JBIMS Mumbai, candidates are required to complete the basic eligibility criteria first. Candidates must complete a bachelor's degree and must have two years of work experience. Self-employed candidates are required to submit copies of submission of income tax returns (last three years), registration of the company, and/or the copy of the partnership deed in which the applicant's name should be mentioned, proving the required experience of the candidate.

JBIMS offers a two-year MSc programme in Finance. The selection process for the programme is based on a candidate's performance in the qualifying entrance test, followed by a GDPI round conducted at the Institute level. To be eligible for the admission process, candidates must have appeared for either MH-CET or CAT. The application form will be available on the institute's portal for a stipulated period, during which interested candidates can apply for admission to the MSc in Finance programme. JBIMS is located in Mumbai. The entrance exam for MBA accepted at the college is MAHCET, CAT, GMAT, and CMAT after taking the exams and checking their scores candidates can check the merit list of the college and apply for counseling by visiting the official website and then, candidates can fill the admission form and pay the fees to secure their seats. The candidates should have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate and the candidates must have secured a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. For those who have cleared the UPSC prelim exams, it is not necessary to take any other exam.
