VIT's infrastructure is better and bigger than of JIIT's. But location of JIIT is better. VIT has many other btech and science programs that has good placement records for those branches(other than CSE) too which is why they get a better rank. ECE and biotech branch of JIIT is improving slowly.

If you want to do CSE then your future is secure and very bright with Chandigarh University. The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Chandigarh University commenced with a mission to become a Center of Excellence that facilitates high-end research at par with industry challenges and raise computer Science engineers with high-technical competencies. Chandigarh University is a better option to pursue CSE. It has high-class facilities full Wi-Fi campus. Moreover, it has wonderful placements, around 400 companies visited the campus this year.

Placements Chandigarh University has total of 490+ recruiters with an average package of INR. 4.6 Lacs and the highest being INR. 27 Lacs. For Manav Rachna, a total 300+ recruiters came and had an average package of INR. 4 Lacs while JIIT Noida had 250+ recruiters with an average package of INR. 3.8 Lacs.
