JEE Main Percentile

Unfortunately the cutoff for your category as announced by National testing agency is placed at 50.1760245 percentile. In view of this you are not eligible to seek admission in any of the NIT's and also you are not eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. With this percentile, your friend can get admission in the branch of his desire in any NIT that he desires.
